  • This electronic preamplifier stands up to the test and will provide you with serious sound performance. The PP999 is perfect for bringing your studio equipment's phono-level output to a more suitable and manageable line-level output. It'll take your audio signal, amplify its strength and prepare it for further processing by your receiver or amplifier. Preamps technically provide voltage gain to your desired equipment and are key to assisting the signal source. The ultra-low noise audio conditioning circuitry allows the preamp to boost audio to levels that are more manageable for various types of audio equipment. You'll find it easier to adjust the recording level volumes of different sources and instruments alike. You should position your preamp close to the source to reduce unwanted noise and interference. Preamps can sometimes come built into the stereo equipment, but if that's not the case, the PP999 is an easy install, wise choice and great addition to any musician or producer. Take your sounds and audio production skills to the next level with the PP999 Preamplifier.

Easy peasy set up. Just take it out of the packaging, plug your TT's RCA cables into the 999's input, then plug the RCA cables you are going to plug into your stereo, into the 999's output, and you are ready to start playing your records! Can't get much simpler than that!

    No hum, at all, too!!!

Well chuffed, over this purchase! (Posted on 6/8/2016)

Pre Amp Review by Richard M
This is working great. No hum and the turntable sounds great. I got this because I like to stay with same brand when things are connected together. It is small and does as it says. I used screw on side of case to ground turntable and it is working great. (Posted on 6/8/2016)

I have to turn the volume on the receiver so high. Does that indicate a need for getting a stronger pre-amp than the PP999?
PP999 is a pre-amp for your turntable only - it does not control your volume - - if you want the volume to be amplified then you need a full amplifier to control it.

I seem to be experiencing a great deal of high frequency distortion. Will hooking up the ground help me with this?
yes it will greatly help hooking up the ground.

How can I adjust the volume on PP999? The volume control on my speaker doesn't work when it is plugged into the PP999. Thanks!
this is only a phono/turntable preamp - - volume control access is thru your amplifier or stereo receiver - -

Wondering the connections which is for the turntable and which is for the amplifier
