This review is from: PYLE Meters PCMM05 Carbon Monoxide Meter (Tools & Home Improvement)
We had two Carbon Monoxide alarms go off last week in our home and I bought this to take spot readings. Solidly built and easy to operate with protective red casing and a pocket pouch. Display is easy to read and audible alert to CO level is good. I am very pleased with the price and quality of this product. (Posted on 6/8/2016)

How do I know when I've hit the 3 year mark for the sensor of the unit? Is there a way to tell via the serial number or is there a date to check.
    Hi Derek,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

PCMM05If the sensor accuracy is over ±5%/±10PPM too much ,it means the sensor life is limit, the chemical reaction life is limit.

    Cost for replacement sensor?
The units are intended to be replaced after several years. The specs say three year sensor life expectancy but I know them to last much longer.
